Beto O'Rourke Threatens to Reorder All of American Society, Force Americans Out of Their Homes

Just ticking through the inane things Democrat Robert Francis Beto O’Rourke has said on the campaign trail lately, he promises/threatens to support the job-crushing Green New Deal, give free health care to illegals, keep the border open which effectively erases it, and confiscate Americans’ firearms.

Add “forcibly relocate Americans out of their homes” to the list. On Monday, the failed punk rocker, hit and run driver, and husband of a billionaire heiress said and then intentionally tweeted this:

O’Rourke: “Rich people are going to have to allow, or be forced to allow, lower-income people to live near them. Which is what we fail to do in this country right now. We force lower-income, working Americans to drive one, two, three hours in either direction to get to their jobs, very often minimum wage jobs.”

In Robert O’Rourke’s world, America is always “failing” at something. Meanwhile, we have the strongest and most equitable economy ever and literally none of what he said is true. There is no such “right” to live close to work. The government cannot force anyone to do any of this, and no one is “forcing” anyone to live 2 or 3 hours from minimum wage jobs, of which they work more than one. Add up the hours and it’s simply impossible — unless, one supposes, that person is stuck working jobs limited to fewer than 30 hours each, thanks to the full-time job restrictions imposed by Obamacare — which O’Rourke still supports.

For what it’s worth, the O’Rourkes live in a century-old El Paso home known for once hosting a meeting between Gen. Hugh Scott and Mexican bandit Pancho Villa. Go see a photo of O’Rourke sitting in front of it here. Here’s an aerial view of their El Paso palace.

It’s not a low- or middle-income home.

Twitter provides some great reactions to O’Rourke’s latest:
