A 91-Year-Old Was Killed in a Home Invasion in Brooklyn

The New York Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from a 99-year-old woman this afternoon. The woman said that a home invasion had taken place at her Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood home in Brooklyn. She reported that robbers had tied her and her 91-year-old husband up at around 3:30 pm EST. Authorities said, “She was able to untie herself and call 9-1-1.”

Chief of Brooklyn Detectives Michael Kemper continued, “Officers found her 91-year-old husband tied up, lying on the floor, and he was unresponsive.” Later, “he was unfortunately declared deceased.” So these burglars tied up a couple in their 90s, and would up killing the 91-year-old.

What a horrendous crime! The investigation continues…
