Jerks of the World Respond to Qaddafi's Rampage in Libya

Fidel Castro says the violence in Libya will give NATO a “pretext” for an invasion. Nicaragua’s Daniel Ortega calls Qaddafi to express his support. Hugo Chavez denies that Qaddafi is seeking asylum in Venezuela. I believe him, but should add that when I visited Libya I saw posters of Chavez in the capital congratulating him for the dubious honor of winning the Qaddafi Human Rights Prize.

Speaking of the Qaddafi Human Rights Prize, Turkey’s increasingly creepy prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan says he wants to keep the prize Qaddafi gave him last year.
