Peace Kills

Talk about unintended consequences! It is a virtual certainty that the report from the group Rush so elegantly called “The Iraq Surrender Group” will spur on the terror masters to new excesses of zeal. It will certainly reinforce their long-standing conviction that America is weak-willed and spineless. They will conclude that terrorism works, and that more terrorism will work faster and better. As throughout the past four years, my heart goes out to the Iraqi people, who have demonstrated incredible courage and patience, and deserve a better fate.

It’s disgusting that these “elder statesmen” of ours are blaming the Iraqis above all others. Hey, it’s their fault that the Iranians, Syrians and Baathists are blowing them up, right?
