Don Cheadle has shown his real face on Twitter. The actor, one of Hollywood’s favorite sons, couldn’t help himself when U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley criticized him and his fellow “stars” on Twitter for politicizing the Grammys.
I have always loved the Grammys but to have artists read the Fire and Fury book killed it. Don’t ruin great music with trash. Some of us love music without the politics thrown in it.

Cheadle’s response tells us all we need to know about his attitude toward women who dare disagree with his politics:
sit down, girl. you’re drunk … https://t.co/WUcgKvw515
— Don Cheadle (@DonCheadle) January 29, 2018
Although he undoubtedly thought his followers would appreciate the insults to Haley, the opposite was the case. Many Twitter users accused Cheadle of being a sexist.
check your privilege. Liberal Privilege to get a pass on mansplaining, attacking, demeaning, harrassing, assaulting women who don’t express an opinion based on liberal identity politics. #LP #LiberalPrivilege #virtuesignaling

Don… love your acting… loved meeting you in Asheville, NC some years ago, but with all respect, why are you offending Nikki for being offended? She’s right! If a book implies solicitice behavior to sell books that are lies, why shouldn’t Nikki speak her truth!?

I agree with Nikki on this and I am sober lol. I respect you Don and agree with some of your views but there is a place and time for political propaganda. Just not on entertainment award shows that should be about celebrating the art and the amazing people that make it great.

Hey, you know how you would feel if someone that disagrees with you referred to you as “boy.” Ya, while I agree with you politically, you just did that to someone else. Don’t do that.

Seriously, if someone said the same thing to Hillary Clinton over her past, @DonCheadle would be demanding their immediate crucifixion
I hate Trump, but being a prick to an accomplished woman only makes you a prick & a hypocrite. pic.twitter.com/foJp6Tejhg

The most remarkable aspect of Cheadle’s tweet is, of course, that the entire Left would have united against him if Haley was a liberal and Cheadle was a conservative. His fellow Hollywood stars would have come out accusing him of being sexist, and of “mansplaining” politics to Haley. But because he (the aggressor) is the liberal and Haley (the victim) is the conservative, the only ones criticizing him are normal Twitter users, not other actors or singers.
