It’s happening again: At least 22 travelers were injured after an explosion on an Underground train in London. The explosion, which caused a major fireball, left several people wounded on the train in Parsons Green, which is in the south of the city. Other passengers, those lucky enough to be far enough away from the explosion, were reportedly “running for their lives.”

On social media, witnesses write that people were “screaming and running off trains.”

The Met Police, the London Fire Brigade, and the London Ambulance Service have informed the public that they’re on the scene to help those wounded. Armed police have established a perimeter, advising people to “avoid the area.”

Although it’s too early to hold anyone responsible for the explosion, Britain is facing a major terror threat. A former UK intelligence official recently said that there are as many as 23.000 Islamist radicals in the country.

In what comes as a surprise to exactly nobody, London police have announced they’re treating the explosion on a London Underground train earlier today as a “terror incident.”

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police say that Britain’s senior national coordinator for counter-terrorism policing “has declared it a terrorist incident.” Eyewitness Natalie Belford tells the New York Times:

The train was packed, and I was down the other side of the carriage standing up, looking at my phone and then I heard a big boom and felt this heat on my face. I ran for my life. But there was no way out. The doors were full of people and the carriage was too packed to move down. I knew it was a bomb when I saw people with charred hair and burnt faces. This has got to be terrorism, a bag full of explosive materials don’t just appear on a train by accident.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that British police are searching for a second bomb. Oh, and they’re looking for a man with knives:

Scotland Yard sources have said that it is being treated as terrorist incident but said could not confirm claims from the scene there is another bomb and the suspect is on the run.

But an officer at the scene told MailOnline: ‘We believe there is a second bomb – there is a man with knives on the loose.’

Of course, Britain’s foreign secretary has “appealed for calm.” Because being calm in the face of radical Islamist terror has saved so many lives, hasn’t it? I mean, it’s not as if there have been several deadly attacks in Britain this year.

Oh wait. I almost forgot about the attack with a van on London Bridge, followed by a stabbing at its parliamentary building. And then there was the suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester. Ah. Yeah. Then there was also the car and knife attack near Parliament.

Ah well. Incidents. All of them. Amirite?
