Have you noticed how desperate the left is to turn Donald Trump into Joe Biden? Joe Biden spent four years in the White House barely knowing where he was half the time, and Democrats were so angry that conservatives dared to point it out, they started projecting Joe Biden’s diminished faculties onto Trump. And then Biden botched his debate with Trump, and they stopped pretending Biden was cogent. Yet the left still tries to play the same card with Trump, and it never works.
This weekend, the left-wing rumor mill went into overdrive, claiming President Trump was supposedly lying in a hospital bed.
Left-wing influencer Ed Krassenstein appears to have started the rumor (or at least amplified it early on), when he fired off a post claiming Trump was at Walter Reed Medical Center.
BREAKING: Speculation is rising that Donald Trump is at Walter Reed Medical Center.

And that’s all it took.
No evidence. No sourcing. Just “speculation.” Of course, the narrative spread like wildfire among those who want to believe every rumor. You know, the usual suspects who seem permanently eager for bad news about Trump, and think if you post something that it will magically make it true. As of this writing, the post has nearly nine million views.
And the rumor exploded.
It is Saturday before Easter, and instead of spending quality time with their families, these people just can't stop thinking about Trump.

They're so obsessed with Trump they have to make up weird fantasies about a hospitalization that never happened.
I genuinely worry about… pic.twitter.com/K6mwdiDRnO
And it was completely made up.
The reality was far less dramatic — and far more embarrassing for those pushing the latest hoax.
Reporters on the ground quickly pointed out a basic but telling detail: a Marine sentry stood guard outside the West Wing door.
🚨 WOW! It was just confirmed President Trump is STILL working at the West Wing and the Oval Office

The Marine sentry is still standing guard.
He’s not “hospitalized,” he’s a MAN ON A MISSION hard at work! 🔥 pic.twitter.com/47tJZ9sFDP
That’s not symbolic. It’s protocol.
When the Marine is posted, the president is inside.
CBS News’ Emma Nicholson noted the presence of the sentry at 1:50 p.m.

Selina Wang later confirmed the sentry’s presence at 5:04 p.m.
As of 5:04pm ET, there's Marine sentry standing guard outside the West Wing, which means President Trump is present in the Oval Office

Trump had "Executive Time" on his public schedule starting at 8:00 am today. The White House issued a lid for press at 11:08 a.m pic.twitter.com/iLtxEWsnWf
So, yeah…Trump was exactly where he was supposed to be — the Oval Office.
And while the rumor mill churned, Trump himself was busy doing something presidents do — making decisions. Well, presidents besides Joe Biden, anyway.
There’s really nothing confusing about what’s going on here. It’s projection. For years, Democrats and their media allies dismissed concerns about Joe Biden’s very real physical and cognitive decline. They accused people who questioned his physical and mental fitness of ageism, and dismissed video evidence as “cheap fakes.”
Now, they seem determined to flip the script, inventing health crises for Trump out of thin air. This isn’t the first time the left has pushed a medical emergency hoax narrative when Trump doesn’t go before the cameras for a few hours. And we all know it won’t be the last.
The pattern reveals more about the left than anything else. It shows a political opposition that still can’t process Trump being back in power. The same people are trying to find any glimmer of hope that he can be forced out. It’s almost ironic when you think about how they would look the other way when Biden went days without being seen, yet today pretend that going a few hours without seeing Trump is the sign of a medical emergency and a constitutional crisis. It’s exhausting.
And yeah, pathetic.
