Will Anyone Get Indicted for the Russiagate Hoax?

Will any Obama administration or Clinton campaign officials ever face real consequences for the Russian collusion hoax? That’s the question I get more than any other from readers who reach out. People want to know if anyone will actually end up behind bars for what was clearly an orchestrated effort to derail Donald Trump’s presidency with a manufactured tale of Russian interference.

We now know this wasn’t some innocent intelligence blunder or sloppy work. This was a political weapon—planned, coordinated, and executed at the highest levels of government to protect Hillary Clinton and destroy Donald Trump. Recent revelations have ripped the curtain back, showing that the operation reached all the way into the Obama White House.

As we know from declassified documents released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Obama and his national security team pushed the creation of the infamous Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) in January 2017. That ICA falsely claimed Vladimir Putin wanted Trump to win by undermining Clinton—despite credible intelligence that some Russian officials expected Clinton to win, had compromising material on her, and planned to use it if she became president. Naturally, that part never made it into the final report. Why? Because it would have blown the anti-Trump narrative to pieces before it even got started.

CIA Director John Brennan led the charge, leaning on garbage like the Steele dossier and ignoring the warnings of seasoned CIA analysts. The omissions were as deliberate as the fabrications. This was no accident—it was a coup attempt dressed up as intelligence work.

The good news? Attorney General Pam Bondi has empaneled grand juries to investigate the scandal. Suddenly, names like James Clapper, John Brennan, and James Comey are finding themselves under the legal microscope. For years, these people operated as if they were untouchable. Now, they might finally face the same kind of scrutiny they inflicted on others.

But here’s the reality check: as much as we’d all love to see Barack Obama indicted for his role, I wouldn’t bet my Tesla on it happening. Yes, I’ve reported before that it’s possible. And sure, it would be the political earthquake of the century—a moment that would vindicate everything conservatives have been saying for years. But the legal and political barricades shielding him are massive. The Obama-Clinton machine has always had a knack for keeping its top operators out of reach.

If Obama were ever indicted, I’d buy the most expensive bottle of champagne I could find and toast to the day justice finally caught up with him. But I’m not holding my breath.

That said, I do think we’ll see indictments.

The highest-ranking officials with real exposure are Comey, Clapper, and Brennan, and if we can’t get Obama, these three need to see the inside of a courtroom. That said, the more realistic targets are people like Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Peter Strzok, Jake Sullivan, and others. Maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll turn on their bosses.

What matters now is that the Trump administration and congressional investigators keep turning over every rock. Every document needs to be made public. Every lie needs to be exposed. The American people deserve to know exactly who was behind this unprecedented abuse of power, how they did it, and why they thought they could get away with it.

Even if the ringleaders at the top walk free, their names should be permanently etched into the record of history—as a warning to future generations about the dangers of weaponizing America’s intelligence apparatus for partisan gain. Because if they got away with it once, they’ll try it again.
