Trump Will Expose the Real Threats to Democracy

Joe Biden has some real political problems. Voters on both sides of the aisle not only think he's too old and mentally incompetent to be president, they also pan his economic record, his immigration record, and even his foreign policy record. Without anything to run on to justify another term, Joe Biden and the Democrats have sought to push various narratives in the hopes of salvaging his chances of getting reelected in November.

One theme Biden and the Democrats are pushing is that Trump and the Republicans are "threats to democracy." And, their friends in the media are doing everything they can to help them push this narrative.

"If elected to a second term, Donald Trump would prosecute anyone he deems an enemy, unleash troops on protesters, and essentially unravel the rule of law as we know it,” former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki hilariously claimed in November. "And this time he plans to line his administration with people who will actually help him do it. But sure, Joe Biden is three years older and occasionally trips over things."

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough took it a step further, predicting that Trump "will imprison, he will execute, whoever he is allowed to imprison, execute, drive from the country."

It would be funnier if they weren't so blatantly ignoring what's happening under Biden. The Biden administration has not only prosecuted Donald Trump, but also targeted nonviolent participants of the January 6 events without due process, and subjected pro-life demonstrators to aggressive prosecution. The administration has sought to label concerned parents at school board meetings as domestic terrorists, raising concerns about the erosion of civil liberties under its watch.

Do liberals care? Nope.

But, Donald Trump isn't letting them get away with it. At a campaign rally in Dayton, Ohio, on Saturday, Trump didn't hold back in his criticism of Joe Biden, and effectively flipped the script by saying that it is actually Biden who poses "a great threat to our democracy."

“Remember this, Joe Biden is a great threat to our democracy,” Trump said. “He’s a tremendous threat to our democracy. His incompetence is the number one reason. Also, he uses the Justice Department, the FBI, to go after his political opponent, which happens to be me.”

“There’s never been a president so bad,” Trump continued. “There’s never been anything like it. He’s incompetent, he’s crooked.”

Trump knows this all to well. As it stands, Trump finds himself entangled in four criminal trials, a notable portion of which stem from his challenge of the 2020 election outcome against Biden, as well as his retention of classified documents after leaving office. Even though Biden was found to have willfully retained, mishandled, and disclosed classified information himself, he won't face charges because Hur determined that Biden's defense would likely rely on portraying him as a sympathetic, well-intentioned elderly individual with a frail memory. In other words, he's too senile to stand trial. And then there's the efforts to block Trump from appearing on state ballots. Even after the U.S. Supreme Court stepped in, congressional Democrats are still scheming to make it happen.

So, no one knows better than Trump just how anti-democratic the left is. He's the victim of the two-tiered justice system. He's a victim of a nationwide effort to literally block him from appearing on the ballot. Make no mistake about it, he can flip the script better than anyone because he's been the target of the Democrats assaults on democracy for years.
