Welcome to February! I’m determined to be ahead of the Valentine’s Day game this year. Bring on the crafts and candy hearts!  And, by the time Valentine’s Day has come and gone, we are almost done with winter. That’s a win-win in my book!

These are so pretty, and make a great addition to anyone’s Valentine’s Day events. So simple, my kids might even be able to help me!

This topic is near and dear to my heart.  I have an almost 2-year-old, and I know her potty training days are just around the corner.

Ok.  We did it.  And it wasn’t AS BAD as I thought it would be.  We potty trained our daughter in three days.  I have to be honest, I avoided potty training as much as possible.  Diapers really aren’t THAT BAD, right?  But, Lydia recently turned three and I knew we had to bite the bullet.  After a bit of research, I put together all my teacher / behavior management tips and tricks and assembled a plan for how to potty train a toddler.  And, IT WORKED!  We potty trained Lydia in three days. “

Two-thirds of my kids are good eaters.  The other 1/3 is like pulling teeth to get him to eat a good meal.  And the snacking! My goodness!  All day long.  Seriously, I get breakfast cleaned up and they are asking for a snack.  This madness has to stop!  I’m so excited for my kids to start a new routine!

I was a little more relaxed on the rules I followed for big sis Hailey. As time went by I realized it was getting to be a pain to get my toddler to eat dinner and other meals at their proper time. The bad habits we had fallen into meant she’d only eat a few bites at meal time, but would sometimes say she was hungry only a short time later.”

I’ll admit it, I love my Instant Pot.  It’s a life-changing, kitchen must-have for any busy woman.  Imagine my delight when I stumbled across Lamberts Lately and noted a full menu that can be frozen and pulled out in a pinch.  Folks, you can find me cooking up a storm in my kitchen this weekend!

I love this sweet blog.  At Home with Natalie is refreshing and happy. She celebrates all that is good and normal about motherhood.  Like I said, I’ll be getting a head start on my Valentine’s game this year, thanks to these ideas.
