The Morning Briefing: Nikki Haley Throws Down at UN and Much, Much More

Pink Tsunami: Nikki Haley sets UN straight on Hamas/Palestinian violence

I hate using gender they way the left does in their juvenile sloganeering but since only some women are worthy of being celebrated, why not? No YAS QUEENS for Haley from the p*ssy hat brigade?

US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Tuesday defended Israel’s use of force against Palestinian demonstrators in Gaza and walked out of a UN Security Council session as Palestine’s envoy, Riyad Mansour, began to speak.

“Who among us would accept this type of activity on your border?” Haley said, referring to some protestors attempting to storm Israel’s border. “No country in this chamber would act with more restraint than Israel has.”

The Jew-hating UN had some harsh words…for Israel. “We condemn the appalling, deadly violence in Gaza yesterday,” [Rupert] Colville [spokesperson for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights] said, adding that attempts to cross or damage a border fence “are not sufficient grounds for the use of live ammunition.”

Really? So INVADERS throwing explosives and Molotov cocktails at Israelis and trying to breach the border to kill Jews shouldn’t be met with “live ammunition”??? Gimme a break.

NorKs threaten to pull out of negotiations

This isn’t much of a surprise.

North Korea is threatening to cancel its upcoming summit between leader Kim Jong Un and President Donald Trump over South Korea-U.S.military drills.

North Korea has also canceled high-level talks with South Korea that were scheduled for Wednesday local time over those same drills.

“If the U.S. and the South Korean government thinks that the improvement of North-South relationship and the U.S. talk made possible by our leading and generous efforts and actions as a pardon to open play-with-fire fuss like this war drill anytime, there is no greater misjudgment than that,” North Korean state media agency KCNA said in a dispatch.

“We have no choice but to stop the North-South high-level talk scheduled for the 16th under the ugly circumstances where there is indiscreet North-invading war fuss and fight rampage,” KCNA said. “… The U.S. must contemplate on the fate of the scheduled Korea-U.S. head meeting with the provocative military situation created with the South Korean government.

“We will keep sharp eyes on the U.S. and the South Korean government’s future attitude.”

A summit was scheduled for June 12 in Singapore between the U.S. and North Korea. State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert made the following statement: “What we have to go on is what Kim Jong-un has said before, that he understands and appreciates the importance to the United States of having these joint exercises, the Republic of Korea has as well,” Nauert said. “We’ve received no formal or even informal notification of anything.”

Cohen fights Avenatti disclosure of financial records

President Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen is fighting Michael Avenatti, the “lawyer” representing porn star Stormy Daniels, who released what appear to be Cohen’s bank records. How did he get these bank records?? The media is uninterested.

Cohen asked a New York federal judge to shut Avenatti out of his court case because of the publication. On Tuesday, Avenatti shot back that he had a First Amendment right to publish information “of the utmost public concern,” according to court filings.

In a letter to Judge Kimba Wood on May 9, Cohen’s attorney Stephen Ryan asked Wood to deny Avenatti’s application for pro hac vice admission — which is a request for a lawyer to appear in court despite being licensed in a different state — because “Avenatti is apparently in possession of and has published information from some of Mr. Cohen’s actual bank records” that he has “no lawful basis to possess.”

Additionally, Cohen argues that Avenatti “has made numerous incorrect statements to the public in an apparent attempt to prejudice and discredit Mr. Cohen.” Cohen’s lawyer wants Avenatti to tell the court where he got the bank records.
