Senator Bernie Sanders can add “fashion muse” to his list of accomplishments. While he may have lost the race for the Democrat nomination for president, he won a place in the heart of fashion house Balenciaga.

Balenciaga’s fall line for men is inspired by Sanders’ fashion sense — I suppose you could call it “disheveled chic.” One major difference: the fashion line is not priced for the working-class male.

Sanders demurred about his fashion sense and inspiration when questioned by Jake Tapper.
“I want to ask you, as a closing question, about something that is rather frivolous,” Tapper said. “Did you ever think that you would become a fashion icon?”
Sanders replied, “No, not quite, Jake. I think of my many attributes, being a great dresser or a fashion maven is not one of them.”
