French President Nicolas Sarkozy stated today that having different cultures living as unique entities in France doesn’t work. When asked about multiculturalism in a TV interview, Sarkozy responded: “My answer is clearly yes, it is a failure.”
He joins British Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who have both said the same thing recently. Merkel admitted that people don’t live side-by-side happily. Cameron warned that multiculturalism in Britain, “is fostering extremist ideology and directly contributing to home-grown Islamic terrorism.”
“Australia’s ex-prime minister John Howard and Spanish ex-premier Jose Maria Aznar have also recently said multicultural policies have not successfully integrated immigrants.”
Why should they integrate when you tell them not to?
