Much has been said of late about the impending demise of the Democrat party. I’m already on record, as of the first week in August, declaring the Democrat party to be going through an extinction-level event. There are even rumors going around that many of them will be making appearances on the “Walking Dead” TV series.
The online commentary about how the Democrat party is somewhat less popular than a UTI has been nearly non-stop, and that commentary is backed by actual polling data.
Much as I’d like to claim otherwise, I doubt I’m quite so influential as to have swayed anyone toward this conclusion. So, I am forced to assume that these other writers, some of them here at PJ Media, have come to this point on their own, having little if anything to do with my original pronouncement on the subject. I find myself reassured greatly by this.
Let’s look at why this is so. My initial comment last August bounced off a Matt Margolis piece, as noted by Glenn Reynolds. In his piece, Matt says:
Democrats are still scratching their heads over why young men keep slipping through their fingers. After years of trading in empty promises and socialist fantasies, the Left was stunned in 2024 when young men broke ranks and cast their votes for Donald Trump. Satellites could probably pick up the wailing from Washington.
Who could possibly be surprised that young men are turning away from a party that openly sneers at masculinity, constantly lectures about so-called “male privilege,” and blames every societal issue on “the patriarchy”?
Indeed so. Men, at least ones still in possession of their original equipment, tend to be very logical creatures. And yet, the Democrats have been hitting us for years now, with positions that are about as logical as a football bat. Among them:
- Allowing crime is compassion.
- Men can be women, and vice versa.
- National borders are an option.
- If we take that open border policy as an indication, citizenship means nothing.
- Joe Biden’s dementia is still regarded as being “sharp as a tack.”
- Guatemalan gang members who abuse their wives are called “Maryland dads.”
- After it was absolutely clear that Biden had the brain capacity of a doorknob (or less), they stuffed a candidate with an even lower IQ into the replacement role.
- The chosen replacement candidate had absolutely no primary votes whatsoever, and yet Democrats publicly regard this as “saving democracy.”
All of these declarations of insanity have collectively attained an almost religious dedication among the left. The left assumes that these positions simply can’t be wrong, regardless of the carnage wherever they are applied. The violent chatter from their side has been going on for so long now in support of these obvious incongruities that it has become a part of who they are. They see altering their position on these matters as more of a problem than cutting off one's b— er, sorry — surgically altering one’s sex.
The attitude seems to be, “We said it, it can’t be wrong, so now the violence, which is now threatening to break out into Civil War, is just fine with us.”
I tell you true, I’ll not be shocked if this next “No Kings” Barndance and Bar-B-Que on Oct. 18 shows us at least some of that, complete with Zombie suits.
I caution you, don’t ask them to explain how someone who never served in public office before he was elected President can possibly be at fault for all of America’s problems, while people who have been running things since the '70s are not. The resulting cognitive dissonance may result in a complete recto-cranial inversion.
Keep in mind also, this is the same group that’s been beating the deceased equine of what they claim was conservatives acting violently on J6. If you look closely, you might see a conflict or two in their position, but they don’t. As an example, they fail to see a problem with believing that Trump is a dictator, while the left can shut down the government even when it finds itself totally without power and with very little influence, both within the halls of government and without.
Perhaps without recognizing it in a conscious fashion, the left is getting desperate. Historically, when Democrats don’t get their way, violence tends to happen. I do not see them understanding that, should that violence come to pass, they will lose even more men as those men recognize the fallacy they’ve been fed for so long. Even if it doesn’t come to that, there will be excesses that will lose them voters.
It is revealing and somewhat amusing to note that the Democrats are focusing their zombie recruitment efforts on men with brains. There's an obvious conflict of purpose here, which seems to float right by them.
These are men who understand that male privilege, for example, is mere fantasy. That’s mostly because there are, practically speaking, ever smaller numbers of men who don’t see through the smoke screen and can therefore be persuaded to join the zombies. In short, there’s a shortage of gullible men left to draw from anymore.
These prospects, who still retain their grey matter, understand that, yes, there may be a small subset of men doing well financially, but there’s also a larger subset of men who show up in prison statistics, in which males are well overrepresented. Suicide stats and lifespan calculations also put the bearers of testosterone at a distinct and undeniable disadvantage — one that the left doesn’t like talking about. Through all of this, there’s the dead giveaway that Democrats still cannot, with any consistency, identify what a woman is. How, then, can they be expected to identify what men are thinking and experiencing?
Why anyone would be surprised by men leaving a party, the policies of which have been openly stacked against them, is beyond the thought processes of mere mortals devoid of hallucinogenic substances. Give the leftists kudos for consistency, I suppose; they're always wrong, but just as consistently look at the world with a smug satisfaction last seen in 1933 Berlin.
They believe in their own infallibility, and so they never even consider changing those positions. Rather, they tend to concentrate on coming up with a better explanation for their positions. They assume it must be an issue with how the Democrat agenda is being sold. Never change the baseline agenda, just use a different sales pitch. It’s not that what they’re selling is crap; it’s the messaging that’s the problem. I fear we are about to see the result of all this on the 18th.

By the way, the other side of this coin is the often-tossed-about idea that leftist women hate men. I can confirm this, but I’ve long since come to the conclusion that the reason liberal women hate men is that they choose to surround themselves with liberal men. But that’s another topic for another column.
