Spam Declines After Hosting Company Shut-down

Internet hosting site McColo mysteriously disappeared Tuesday, taking with it an estimated 75 percent of all spam being sent on-line.  In fact, the precipitous drop in Internet spam bot activities you may have noticed recently correlates directly with the San Jose-based company’s rapid disappearance.  But spammers are a resilient bunch and many expect this group to reconstitute soon, possibly in Eastern Europe.  Enjoy the quiet while you can, the sexual enhancement promotions will be back soon.
