Speed Matters, And US Broadband Trails Badly

In their annual report on broadband speeds, Speedmatters.com reports US broadband connections continue to lag badly compared to other nations. While the median US download speed is 2.3 mbps, in Japan the median speed is 63mbps, thirty times the US rate. The report breaks down speeds by state and leading the way is Rhode Island.  East coast states topped the list with California ranked at #25.  (Really – Rhode Island) See for yourself.
