China VC Investments Highest In Five Years

China seems to be striking gold everywhere this week. According to Dow Jones VentureSource, in the second quarter VC’s poured over $1.3 Billion, spread across 71 deals, into mainland China companies.  Sequoia led all investors followed closely by IDG Ventures China and Draper Fisher. The investments are more than double the dollars invested in Q2 2007.
