To borrow the name of a popular Truther-debunking Website, Screw Loose Change says…Al Qaida? Or as a headline at the Tatler puts it, “Al Qaida to Ahmadinejad: Knock Off the 9-11 Conspiracy Theories Already. We Did It:”
Al-Qaida has sent a message to the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, asking him to stop spreading conspiracy theories about the 9/11 attacks.
Iranian media on Wednesday reported quotes from what appears to be an article published in the latest issue of the al-Qaida English language magazine, Inspire, which described Ahmadinejad’s remarks over the 11 September attacks as “ridiculous”.

The inevitable follow-up to Ahmadinejad’s UN speech. I hate to see friends fight, but look on the bright side: I’m sure they both agree on the essential fraudulence of the Holocaust. Maybe that can be the common ground that heals the breach.
And so, 10 years after 9/11, it’s come to this. The new vanguard in the endless struggle against Trutherism is … Al Qaeda.
