In one sense, Steele’s lucky — as Jim Treacher noted on Twitter, “Fortunately for Michael Steele, he said this to @rolandsmartin on @CNN. Just imagine if he’d said such a thing in public.”
Sadly, it’s not the first time that Steele has crashed spectacularly on this topic on CNN, though.
