In his prime, Cunningham was an immensely talented quarterback–a true triple threat: he could run, pass, and even punt (which he did at least once) with equal ease–and had some great years with the Eagles, and one absolutely astounding year, in 1997, with the Vikings, after sitting out a year in his first retirement.
