Poll Workers in Texas Tell Undercover Reporter That Dreamers Can Vote

Project Veritas was on the ground in Texas today checking on polling places to see if illegal immigrants are being allowed to vote. The results of their efforts are infuriating if not unsurprising.

“So let’s just say my boyfriend is a Dreamer, but he’s registered to vote. He just needs his I.D., right?” a Project Veritas undercover journalist asked a poll worker.

“Uh-huh, that’s it,” Deborah Brooks-Wims, the poll worker, replied.

The reporter made sure the poll worker understood what she was saying. “Some people are questioning whether it’s legal since he’s not a citizen, but he was able to register,” she said.

“If he has an I.D., that’s all he needs, if he’s registered,” Wims reiterated.

“It doesn’t matter that he’s not a citizen?” the reporter pressed.

Wims then expressed doubt that the woman’s purported boyfriend is even registered to vote because if he were registered, she said there would be nothing to worry about.

The Veritas reporter assured her that he was registered, but said they had seen something on the internet saying that non-citizens were not allowed to vote.

“No, don’t pay any attention to that,” Wims exclaimed. “Bring him up here.”

At another polling location, the Project Veritas journalist ran into the same thing. When confronted with concerns about the Dreamer boyfriend being allowed to vote, poll worker Pam Nash was happy to be of service.

Nash said helpfully, “No, you tell him no, we got a lot of them. Mmhmm. From early voter? We got TONS of them.”

“It doesn’t matter that he’s not a citizen?” the Veritas reporter asked.

“No, ma’am,” Bash replied.

Gee, maybe President Trump wasn’t too far off when he said there were millions of illegal votes in 2016.

In fact, a study in June of 2017 estimated that as 5.7 million noncitizens may have voted in the 2008 election.
