During an appearance on The Glenn Beck Program Monday, former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly said that there is an audio recording out there that catches an anti-Trump operative bribing a woman to lie about the president.

There is “an audio tape of an anti-Trump person offering $200,000 to a woman to accuse Donald Trump of untoward behavior,” O’Reilly told Beck, adding that he may have to go to the U.S. attorney himself because “there are at least three crimes on the tape,” according to his lawyer.

“It’s in the hands of someone who knows the seriousness of the situation,” he informed Beck.

“What is their hesitancy?” the talk show host wondered.

The former Fox host told Beck that he couldn’t get into that “at this point” because it is “a big legal thing,” but he was “not going to let it go.”

Donald Trump knows about the tape,  he said, adding that he didn’t know why the president was allowing the left to smear him when there is a “powerful — and I mean it’s a powerful — piece of evidence that shows that this is an industry, that there are false charges and money changing hands.” He declared that the tape — when it gets out — will “change the whole discussion.”

O’Reilly allowed that Trump may have done some stuff wrong, but felt it was important to get the truth out so the American people aren’t deceived.

“I know there’s an industry that pays people to smear other people and that’s gotta be exposed,” he concluded.
