4. Men and Marriage

Dennis Prager frequently cites Gilder and his writings on marriage and the differences between men and women as one of his big influences on the subject. This book is an expanded version of the themes from his earlier books Naked Nomads and Sexual Suicide. Gilder developed the argument for how marriage and monogamy channel male nature into a more value-creating direction than the single lifestyle. Men who want to give their families better lives will work harder than boy-men just wanting to collect more toys.
