Clint Eastwood's Daughter Stars in New Western

Watching the trailer for the forthcoming western Outlaws and Angels, one might easily miss the significance of its cast.

The story follows a band of bank robbers who take a family hostage while hiding out in their home. The eldest daughter becomes seduced by one of the outlaws and soon joins him in some Bonnie and Clyde type debauchery.

That daughter is played by Francesca Eastwood, who has a father named Clint. Francesca’s mother, Frances Fisher, also stars in the film. The trailer wisely makes no mention of the familial connection, letting the project rely on its merits. If Francesca’s performance in the trailer is any indication, her casting was no gimmick.
