HBO released the second Game of Thrones Season 6 trailer on Monday, and it is a game changer. Little is known for certain about the upcoming season (to be released Sunday after next), as it is the first to go entirely beyond the scope of the A Song of Ice and Fire book series by George R.R. Martin.

The new trailer revealed upcoming events in King’s Landing, more tantalizing hints about the Battle of the North, the coming of the White Walkers, the unleashing of dragons, and even another wedding (?!?!?!).

Below, you will find PJ Media’s list of the 8 great reveals in the new trailer, along with the video itself on the final page. These scenes are ranked from least to most exciting, and from least to most spoiler-y. Enjoy!

1. Confrontation between Cersei Lannister and the Faith Militant

After Cersei’s naked walk of atonement through the streets of the capital in Season 5, it seemed inevitable she would seek revenge against the Faith Militant, which had taken up arms against her. Her scheming is not news by any stretch, but this trailer does hint at how she will pursue her revenge, with a public display of arms to stare down her challengers.

2. An Empowered Sansa?

When last we saw Sansa Stark in Season 5, she was escaping the clutches of her evil husband Ramsay (Snow) Bolton. Ramsay took off her Stark cloak and gave her a Bolton one instead, symbolizing their marriage and his dominance over her, which culminated in the controversial rape scene (which HBO did not actually show). Now, Sansa is riding a horse, clothed again in her Stark garments. This suggests that she has successfully escaped the Boltons and has found company with Littlefinger or Stark loyalists, who will be battling the Boltons coming up…

3. There Will Be Another Battle at Winterfell!

Oh Winterfell, home of the Starks and now seat of House Bolton in its attempt to dominate the North. You would think the poor city has seen enough bloodshed, but the next season will feature yet another grand battle at the gates of the Northern capitol. The fiery crosses suggest the Boltons are fighting on one side, but who is fighting on the other?

4. The Boltons Will Fight…The Wildlings?

That’s right. Tormund Giantsbane, the great red-bearded Wildling leader, features prominently in the trailer, and it seems like his force will be besieging Winterfell. Will a resurrected Jon Snow lead them?

“Dragons do not do well in captivity,” Tyrion declares. When asked how he knows this, the wily dwarf responds, “that’s what I do, I drink, and I know things.”

6. The Dead Are Coming.

One of the most chilling statements in the trailer came from the mouth of Davos Seaworth. “The real war is between the living and the dead, and make no mistake, the dead are coming,” he warns. The trailer featured three terrifying shots of the White Walkers, and it looks as though they will play a major role in this season.

7. The Tower of Joy Scene Will Be Epic.

News reports let slip that Season 6 will have a scene at the Tower of Joy, where Ned Stark (Sean Bean, Season 1) visited his dying sister. Rumor has it that Jon Snow is really the son of Lyanna Stark (Ned’s sister) and Rhaegar Targaryen (the prince of Westeros, rightful heir to the Mad King Aerys II), and that this scene at the Tower of Joy will confirm that. But in addition to mystery, the Tower of Joy featured an epic battle between three Kingsguard knights and seven Northern lords, led by Ned.

This trailer gives us a glimpse of the bloodletting. The three-headed dragon seal on the knight’s armor suggests that he was a Kingsguard knight during the reign of a Targaryen (before King Robert — remember him from Season 1? — took the throne).

8. Will Season 6 Have a Reverse Red Wedding?

Die-hard fans remember the outrage and desolation of seeing some of their favorite characters killed off at the infamous Red Wedding in Season 3. It was ultimate treachery for the Freys to kill the Starks at a wedding. Another wedding (the Purple Wedding) killed off the character fans loved to hate, Joffrey Baratheon. There was also the Black Wedding, where Sansa was forcefully taken by Ramsay, and the Beige Wedding — a Game of Thrones wedding without murder or rape (We shall never see its like again.).

Well, this trailer gave us a tantalizing shot at another wedding, where Lord Walder Frey lifts up a glass to toast. Will he get his comeuppance at these nuptials? If so, how many weddings will Game of Thrones have before it runs out of colors?
