The West mocks Neville Chamberlain for believing he could make a peace deal with war-mongering, genocidal Adolf Hitler, and we praise WWII leaders such as Winston Churchill and George Patton for insisting on unconditional surrender. And yet when it comes to the modern world, Western leaders constantly adopt the attitude of Chamberlain toward Islamic terrorists who are just as genocidal and anti-freedom as Hitler was, if not more.
France and England wanted peace before WWII, but Hitler and the Germans didn’t — they wanted war, they wanted vengeance for WWI and the spread of their warped ideology. The global Jewish population and the international status of many nations have never recovered from WWII. The American government wants peace with Iran, and many of the Iranian people (who trusted us to save them) want peace with Israel and America. But the Iranian regime is composed of the sort of fundamentalist Muslims who believe with unalterable fanaticism that Allah has commanded them to wage war against America and Israel until these countries are destroyed and there is a global Islamic caliphate.
In fact, it goes deeper than that. Yigal Carmon, founder and president of the Middle East Media Research Institute, explained during a May interview, "[President Donald] Trump thinks like a businessman, and many in the Israeli and Western media think the same way. He does not believe the Iranians mean what they openly say," namely that they will wage eternal jihad on the "great Satan" America and the "little Satan" Israel. Rather, Trump "thinks it is a negotiating tactic. He does not understand that these are fanatics who believe that, even if they lose, it will expedite the arrival of their Messiah, the Mahdi." Some Muslims believe a mahdi will establish Islam across the whole earth and reign for a few years before the true end of the world.
That is precisely why we will never have peace with the current regime in Tehran. Until and unless that regime is completely defeated, the murderous mullahs will still be orchestrating and committing terrorist attacks on Americans, Israelis, and anyone else they can. Don’t forget that the Iranian regime and its proxy Hezbollah have violated the ceasefire on a daily basis. And especially don’t forget that there are multiple Iranian assassination teams targeting Donald Trump in the United States, that the regime recently put out a €50 million ($58 million) price on Trump's head, that the regime tried to assassinate Trump's daughter Ivanka, and that there have been multiple Iran-linked terrorist attacks since this conflict began right here in the United States.
In the past week, Iran has attacked Kuwait, the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and now Israel.

The idea that we will keep negotiating with them projects American weakness, not strength.

True, American civilians are not facing daily missile barrages as Israelis are. But if you think we don’t have hundreds of pro-Iran terror operatives in the United States, think again. It would be horrible enough to abandon our best ally, Israel, to the bloodthirsty Hezbollah and Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), but we would also be setting ourselves up for half a century more of endless Jihad. At a certain point, Western leaders need to start learning from experience instead of imposing their own view of the world on their enemies, and ignoring the constant warning signs that radical Islam does not want peace. Muslims believe that death while waging jihad is a shortcut to paradise.
Millions of Israelis have been forced into bomb shelters as the Iranian terror regime attacks Israel directly and through its terrorist proxies - Hezbollah in Lebanon and Houthis in Yemen.

In April, Iranian leaders were planning to expedite executions of protesters with up to 50,000 in custody. The IRGC already murdered 40,000 or more Persian freedom protesters at the beginning of this year. If we pull out of the conflict with Iran’s regime, the ayatollahs will step up executions, throw more fervent support behind terror proxies, and fire with confidence and defiance on any Israeli or American target within reach.
After the horrific Treaty of Versailles that ended WWI but set up the world for a second and even more horrifying war, President Woodrow Wilson was convinced he had brought lasting peace to the world via the League of Nations. He could not have been more wrong. And while the Nazi regime is long gone, Hitler’s ally, the Grand Mufti, trained Yasser Arafat, father of modern jihad, and the Islamists who hailed the Holocaust continue to spread jihad around the world. That’s why posters in Iran recently promoted Hitler. The Trump administration must understand the nature of the enemy we fight.
