Swalwell Was Virulently Anti-DHS. Now DHS Is Investigating Him.

Abruptly, the Democrat Party, which is completely run by criminals and sexual perverts, has decided to get rid of one of their sexually abusive criminals in a hurry. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) had to suspend his gubernatorial campaign amid a slew of accusations against him of sexual assault and immigration violations. One particularly ironic fact is that while Swalwell regularly vilified the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), that same department is now investigating him.

You see, as I mentioned, Swalwell is not just in hot water over his liaisons with prostitutes and spies, his leaks of sensitive information, or his assaults on both named and unnamed victims. He also knowingly hired an illegal alien nanny.

It is nice to see someone influential finally getting held to account for this breach of our laws, which is so harmful for American workers, as the overwhelming majority of wealthy businessmen and politicians are also complicit in hiring illegal aliens. I don’t think a single rich person I know in my home town of Tucson, Ariz., has not hired at least one illegal alien, because it is cheaper. If DHS is going to start investigating people for such crimes, they will certainly need to hire more people to handle the massive flood of investigations. There is a reason Americans can’t get hired for blue-collar jobs in some states. It's not because the jobs don't exist; it's because employers are deliberately seeking only cheap illegal alien labor.

But let's return to Fang Fang's ex-lover. Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin posted on X April 12 that DHS confirmed to Fox it was investigating Swalwell "for allegations that he hired a Brazilian national as a nanny who doesn’t have work authorization in the U.S." U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services "has been gathering details, which are now being referred to DHS for criminal investigation," Melugin added, before sharing the DHS statement: “Federal law prohibits employers from knowingly hiring aliens who are not authorized to work in the United States. No employer, including a member of Congress, is above the law."

The reason this is such a delicious instance of a corrupt politician being hoisted with his own petard is that Swalwell has been among the most vocal anti-DHS, anti-ICE Democrats. Swalwell bragged about helping deny critical funding to DHS and its many subsidiary agencies because of his hatred for ICE. He promised to prioritize interference with ICE operations and aggressive protections for illegal aliens if he became California governor. This in and of itself is against federal law, which forbids shielding illegal aliens.

Disgustingly, at a time when assaults on ICE were skyrocketing, Swalwell compared ICE officers to designated domestic terrorist organization Antifa, falsely asserting ICE officers are "roaming around like Antifa."

Swalwell was part of the campaign to get the Trump administration to fire DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, who was very effective in her role, and he gloated when the president did remove her. In June, for instance, Swalwell screeched, "DHS Secretary Kristi Noem must resign. She has deported a four year old with cancer, detained a U.S. marshal, and arrested two members of Congress." What he did not clarify is that the members of Congress had committed felonies by storming a DHS facility, that the mistaken detention of the marshal was very brief and quickly resolved, and that the sick toddler went back to Honduras with his illegal alien mother, thus keeping the family intact.  After Noem's removal, Swalwell smirked, "Tonight, everyone in America is safer." Swalwell did not acknowledge that the overwhelming majority of illegal aliens arrested by DHS are serial criminals with multiple crimes on their record.

In short, Swalwell's facing legal accountability is long overdue.
