Why is it that Democrats are beginning an important midterm election year by focusing nearly all their energy and resources on inciting hatred against Donald Trump and ICE? Because they truly do not have anything else to offer the American people. They can only hope to cause so much hatred, chaos, and division that they can manipulate — and cheat -- their way to victory.
What is the Democrat Party platform and policy implementation? Baby killing, child mutilation, economic catastrophe, drag queen story hours, widespread crime, Islamic terrorism, illegal immigration, violent riots, international weakness, domestic chaos, energy collapse, government overreach — there is scarcely a moral or political evil that Democrats do not openly support. Their hope for carrying the midterm elections, therefore, certainly cannot rest on a confidence in most Americans enthusiastically supporting thier platform.
Hardcore Democrats always vote that way because it is, in a sense, their religion. The average man or woman who always votes Democrat does not do so because his life is improved in some way by his party's policies or because lefty politicians produce positive results. Rather, they are brainwashed into cult-like fanaticism. They chant "racism," "diversity," "equity," and "LGBTQ rights" as a sort of mantra, and take pride in voting for people who despise, use, and oppress them. Their loyalty has nothing to do with real results.

But a majority of Americans are not Democrats. Gallup reported this week a new high of 45% of Americans identifying as independents. Some of those are conservatives who don't want to be explicitly affiliated with the Republican Party (I know a few), and many others are potentially open to influence on voting decisions. Only 27% of Americans identify as Democrat and 27% as Republican. That means both parties will be framing their actions and speeches around defeating their opponents in the midterms.

As I noted above, Democrats cannot make their pitch with references to a golden economic era or societal renewal under their past control. They always devastate America when they are in charge. But they understand all too well how to manipulate emotions, and that's how they plan to make their pitch — by ginning up virulent hatred for the Trump administration and irrational empathy for fake martyrs of the leftist cause.
That is what's really behind the furor over Renee Good, the leftist who gunned her car into an ICE officer, causing internal bleeding and forcing him to shoot her in self-defense. It's why Democrat politicians and media tried to frame the Tren de Aragua terrorist and his criminal prostitute, shot while committing vehicular assault on Border Patrol, as an "Oregon married couple." Assaults on ICE officers are up by 1347% because Democrats are deliberately trying to cause George Floyd Riots 2.0.

Democrats are not offering to create more jobs or improve education or strengthen our national security. They are screaming at top volume that Donald Trump is like Hitler and that federal immigration officers are the equivalent of the Gestapo. Because the only way for Democrats to make themselves seem better than despicable is to distract with a fictional dictator of their own creation.
