Truth is stranger than fiction, especially when woke leftists are composing the fiction. Transgenderism is a fiction, and it spawns some mind-blowingly stupid situations.
Biological males invading women’s sports and women’s spaces has been a hot-button issue ever since Loudoun County schools were exposed for hiding the fact an LGBTQ-identifying boy had sexually assaulted two female students, one of them in a girls’ bathroom. And as crazy as the transgender propaganda has become, you might still be stunned at how far the plaintiff in a new lawsuit has taken it.
“Emma” Morquecho filed a lawsuit this month in California, where Morquencho was initially offered a women’s volleyball scholarship for Westcliff University. “Morquecho is qualified as a student-athlete in every respect,” whines the lawsuit. “Plaintiff Morquecho wants to play women’s volleyball and earn a scholarship to pay for an advanced degree in education. However, Westcliff University, the California Pacific Conference, and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (‘NAIA’) adopted and enforced a new policy that denies Plaintiff Morquecho eligibility and revoked a scholarship offer to play women’s volleyball solely because she is a transgender woman.”

Ah, and there’s the key — the “she” is actually a “he.” Outrageously, Westcliff University originally passed over qualified women to offer the man a female-only scholarship. Then, the California Pacific Conference revoked Morquecho’s eligibility to play in women’s volleyball while NAIA blocked “transgenders” as of last year from playing against the opposite sex. So Morquecho no longer has a scholarship he should never have been offered to begin with, and of course he’s livid that common sense and reality triumphed.
The ticked-off Morquecho is suing for “declaratory and injunctive relief and damages,” including for “emotional distress.” Worst of all, Morquecho is claiming a Title IX violation, when in actuality allowing him to play against women violates Title IX. But the main point of discussing this lawsuit is that it shows how leftists can become so committed to a laughable lie that they will literally demand apologies and reparations from their victims.
If a woman is awarded a women’s scholarship, the mentally ill man demands injunctive relief and damages. When American girls are raped and murdered by illegal aliens, Democrats rush to defend the illegal aliens. Leftists assert climate catastrophe is coming, and fly private jets to palatial resorts to eat caviar and tell ordinary citizens to sacrifice their gas stoves and minivans.
Of course the examples are endless. For instance, Democrats actively encouraged crime with their disastrous policies in Washington, D.C., and now that Donald Trump has federalized the police force there to address the crime, Democrats scream he’s a tyrant for trying to restore law and order. Who cares how many people are carjacked and killed, when Democrat politicians have private security and chaos works in their favor. The victims of crime are supposed to be devoted to the politicians ensuring their suffering.
There’s no hutzpah like Democrat hutzpah.
