The media as usual has rediscovered hot weather, which coincidentally enough always occurs at this time of year, and is engaging in great weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth about CO2. In perfect timing, a new study undermines the CO2 catastrophe storyline.
Since carbon is the necessary building block of all life on earth, including human life, it ought to be obvious that elevated carbon levels are not deadly. But unfortunately, common sense is not considered in any way authoritative for leftists, so it helps to look at a new study which scientifically investigated the carbon = climate doom narrative and found it wanting.
So we can add yet another lie to the list of those that climate alarmists have been consistently telling for over half a century, in spite of their having been proven wrong every single time.
The research published in August out of Greece found the following:
Our revisit of fundamental issues of climate challenges the notion and term of the “greenhouse effect”, and attempts a scientific reevaluation using minimal assumptions, such as Newton’s laws, maximum entropy and gas spectroscopy. It replaces terms like “greenhouse gas” with “radiatively active gas” (RAG) and “greenhouse effect” with “atmospheric radiative effect” (ARE). While ARE exists in several planets’ atmospheres, on Earth it is primarily driven by water vapor and clouds, with CO2 playing a minor role (especially anthropogenic CO2 which represents 4% of total emissions).
Now, the study authors did argue that warming is occurring in some regions, but even so, that is good news, because warming temperatures make ecosystems thrive. And since Antarctic and Arctic ice caps are increasing, we don’t need to worry about being inundated by melting glaciers.

Climate alarmism is not about science, however; it is about political and social control. The idea is to encroach upon people’s freedoms and property under the guise of being compassionate. That is why the media is still stubbornly insisting that we are about to die from imminent climate apocalypse, as they have been asserting for decades.
Here are just a few examples from recent media articles and podcasts. For NPR, “Eleanor Beardsley shares what it's like to report from Paris, which is experiencing extreme heat due to climate change.” CNN asserted: “In cramped, sweaty Hong Kong, climate change is making things worse for the poorest.” No, that would be the Chinese Communist Party government. But good job blaming tyranny-induced poverty and misery in a subtropical area on “climate change.”
Le Monde was particularly dramatic, darkly fictionalizing, “Climate change: Southern Europe scorched by flames and extreme heat.” TIME, meanwhile, wants a climate equivalent of the Bureau of Labor Statistics to strong-arm people into fearing a climate apocalypse that isn’t coming.
Last year, it was revealed that up to a third of the temperature stations that are supposedly used by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to estimate average global temperature do not exist. So whenever you hear nonsense about how temperature is rising across the continent or the world, just remember that much of the data is quite literally fabricated — like everything else about the climate hoax.
