One of the most accurate statements Ronald Reagan ever made was that “government is the problem.” And there’s almost no federal agency that more amply illustrates that truth than the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
From funding condoms for Muslim jihadis to paying for DEI musicals and for Indonesian coffee to become “gender friendly,” the ever-growing list of exposed USAID absurdities illustrates with horrifying clarity how a government over $36 trillion in debt launders our money for their ideological and financial benefit. The Deep State is like a black hole that sucks away Americans’ money and rights in return only for chaos and disintegration.
During his first inaugural address in 1981, Ronald Reagan — addressing a country impoverished and depressed by the nightmarish presidency of Jimmy Carter — said, “In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem. From time to time we’ve been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people. But if no one among us is capable of governing himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else?”
Who indeed? Not Jimmy Carter, not Joe Biden, and certainly not the fools at USAID who funded Iraqi muppets.
Reagan also stated another time, “Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.” Indeed, each federal regulator, for instance, is estimated to cost the U.S. economy over 130 jobs and $11 million annually. Our Founding Fathers started a Revolution over much less taxation, financial exploitation, and tyranny than our federal government now declares “necessary” in modern America.

Democrats — the same Democrats who turned a blind eye to Americans who lost everything in natural and man-made disasters — almost lost their minds after Donald Trump and DOGE moved to shut down USAID. The media and government bureaucrats are bursting blood vessels over Trump’s buyout offer aimed at cutting the excessive federal workforce by up to 10%.

Doesn’t Trump know that we’re now an oligarchy, not a Republic? Doesn’t he know that grifters grow rich off bloated bureaucratic benevolence? The gravy train was never supposed to derail! Corrupt politicians in D.C. and Davos will starve if the funding dries up!

Like the FBI, the CIA, the EPA, the Department of Education, and dozens of other government agencies which were either always unconstitutional or long since perverted from their original purpose, USAID harms instead of serving We the People. USAID is not the solution to a problem; it is the problem.
