Joe Biden, that fake Catholic, just gave another fake Catholic the Presidential Medal of Freedom: namely, Pope Francis.
It is particularly disturbing that Biden gave Francis the award, considering that Francis has energetically promoted two of the most anti-freedom groups in the world, the Hamas-led Palestinians and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). But, as a Catholic, I must acknowledge that the pope and the president have something in common: they have both publicly avowed heretical opinions in direct violation of Catholic doctrine.
Joe “Abortion Loving” Biden posted Jan. 11, “Pope Francis, your humility and your grace are beyond words, and your love for all is unparalleled. As the People's Pope, you are a light of faith, hope, and love that shines brightly across the world. Today, it was my honor to award His Holiness Pope Francis the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction.” This nauseating tribute is as dishonest as every other thing that spews from the mouths of Joe and his handlers, but let’s dive a little deeper to understand exactly why Francis and Biden are not only awful leaders, but phony Catholics.
Biden is so blatant in his heresy it’s easy to identify. He is rabidly pro-abortion and pro-contraception, and scandalously pro-homosexuality and pro-transgender. Pope Francis however is slightly more subtle.
First of all, to clear up a common misunderstanding, papal infallibility only applies to certain pronouncements that meet specific prerequisites in canon law. Outside of that, the pope is able to express personal opinions that are right or wrong, and there are instances in history of popes making or endorsing heretical statements (e.g., Pope Liberius caving to Arians and wrongly condemning St. Athanasius). Even St. Peter, the first pope, was sometimes wrong! But being wrong is different from violating doctrine. Pope Francis is probably the worst example in history of this papal sliding, and yes, he has signed a document explicitly in contradiction to Church doctrine.
A few years ago, Francis signed a document that was a joint statement with a Muslim leader and that made the heretical assertion that God wills a diversity of religions. Not only that, but Francis, who pretends to be pro-life, appointed a pro-abortion economist to the Pontifical Academy for Life and gave an award to a pro-abortion activist. He held a lunch for “transgenders” and has sent warm and even laudatory messages at least twice to Fr. James Martin, whose pro-LGBTQ activism is directly violative of Biblical and Church teaching. And the pope just appointed woke, pro-pedophile Robert McElroy to be Cardinal of D.C.
Francis and Biden do have a lot in common after all. They both admire sexual perverts, baby killers, and Islamic jihadis — and they most certainly both deny key Catholic doctrines.

The pope who back-stabbed Chinese Catholics and promoted Hamas propaganda against Israel certainly doesn’t deserve any award with “freedom” in the title, but after all, it is hardly surprising that one Judas should give another Judas his thirty pieces of silver — or, in this case, one presidential medal.
