If you’re looking for some great footage to view on a pleasant Saturday afternoon, forget Netflix or Hulu and instead, join me for a review of the scene in D.C. right now, as what appears to be dozens of proteseters are being handcuffed during increasingly mob-like anti-Kavanaugh protests.
There are no elevators on the steps of the Supreme Court for Flakey confrontations, but that doesn’t mean it’s not compelling TV. Over 300 protesters were arrested Friday and into the early hours of Saturday, but the intensity has only increased. The worked-up mob breached barriers set up by police and arrests got underway.
Take a look at some of the footage, first, from Dana Perino on Fox News, and then from Twitter.
Watch:
They keep going as Sen. Inhofe talks with Hemmer and Perino.
And of course, the tweets.

Hundreds of protesters have moved from Supreme Court to steps of Capitol. Many are getting arrested. Police telling people to leave, telling them they don’t have permit to be here. Protesters say they will fuel anger into activism in November and “vote them out.” @SpectrumNewsDC pic.twitter.com/0ef5M7kcLo

There will be a lot more and, as Bill Hemmer noted, they’ll probably be in the Senate gallery again, as they were during the committee hearings. It’s going to be a long day for the Capitol Police.
