Lois Lerner, the retired IRS functionary who remains at the center of the scandal in which that agency targeted conservatives and Tea Party groups, doesn’t like to be targeted. She likes collecting her $100,000 a year pension, though.
Jason Mattera caught up with Ms. Lerner in her well-to-do neighborhood recently just to get her to answer a few questions. Such as, “Do you feel bad about turning the government into a weapon to crush political dissent?”
Ms. Lerner, who subjected conservatives to numerous invasive questions from her perch at the most feared domestic agency in the United States government, did not want to answer any of the questions regarding her own actions that Mattera posed to her.
Isn’t that something? The inquisitor doesn’t want others to be inquisitive about her.
Try running away from the IRS when it wants to question you.
The malignant mandarin resented being questioned so badly that she tried busting into a neighbor’s house just to avoid having to answer for what she and her partisan colleagues did.
Lerner wanted law enforcement to come down on Mattera just for asking a few questions. It’s comforting to know that that’s what IRS officials think — real questions should be met with police force.
Take a look at the video on the next page.
The moment when the neighbor shows up and says that he doesn’t want her in his house…priceless.
Jason Mattera has a new book, Crapitalism: Liberals Who Make Millions Swiping Your Tax Dollars, coming out Oct. 7. I’ll have more to say on that subject later.
