Clinton Coattails Cut?

Chelsea Clinton’s in-law, (former) Rep. Marjorie Margolies, received a lot of help from the Clintons as she ran for the Democratic nomination in Pennsylvania’s 13th congressional district. Bill and Hillary Clinton publicly supported Margolies.

The Clintons’ support wasn’t enough. It wasn’t even close to enough. Margolies has been defeated by state Rep. Brendan Boyle, 41% to 27%.

Politico is treating Margolies’ defeat as a defeat for the Clintons.

And so is ABC News.
