The Democrats have a strategy when they say things like this. That strategy is to lie through their teeth, knowing that the media will not call them on it and their base will not care a whit. Someone on the right will produce a video pointing out the lie, and the media will ignore that too, and the Democrats’ base won’t care a whit.
