Obama Says Obamacare is 'Like having a really good product and the cash registers don't work'

Is Barack Obama even dimly aware that his own signature policy is hurting millions of people?

Going on the evidence, the answer may be no, even though he had to toss up that new lie defending it Monday night.

Speaking in Dallas yesterday, the president said the following about Obamacare.

Now, this is like having a really good product in the store and the cash registers don’t work and there aren’t enough parking spots and nobody can get through the door. And so we are working overtime to get this fixed. And the website is already better than it was at the beginning of October. And by the end of this month, we are anticipating it will be working the way it is supposed to. Alright? Folks are working 24/7 to make sure that happens.

Video at the link, which captured this lovely “AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE” sign in the background. Look at that grassroots support — they’re making their own signs!

What a joke. When is this guy going to stop campaigning and actually do something useful with himself? You already have the job, ya know. No need to keep on applying for it.

Reality: Millions of Americans are having their plans canceled, and presented with new plans that cover less and cost more, because of Obamacare. Millions. All over the country, in blue states and red states alike.

The fact that Healthcare.gov — the cash register in Obama’s tortured analogy — isn’t working is actually helping him avoid even more massive sticker shock for a while.

Where’s this “great product” again?
