It Wasn't Tamerlan Tsarnaev's Lack of A Belief System that Motivated Him To Kill

And it wasn’t J.D. Salinger’s signature novel, either. Tamerlan Tsarnaev wasn’t the Chechen in the Rye. He was a jihadist.

Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev sent text messages to his mother as early as 2011 suggesting he was willing to die for Islam, the FBI told lawmakers this week according to two officials with knowledge of the Capitol Hill briefing.

Tsarnaev, who was killed days after the April 15 bombing in a shootout with police, is said to have embraced radical Islam in recent years and recruited his younger brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, to carry out the attack that killed three and wounded more than 180 near the finish line of the world’s most prestigious road race.

It’s not hard to see how the FBI missed the jihadist’s pings as he traveled about the world (on whose dime, by the way, since they were on welfare?): The fish rots from the head. Here’s rotten headed Secretary of State John Kerry yesterday.

I think the world has had enough of people who have no belief system, no policy for jobs, no policy for education, no policy for rule of law, but who just want to kill people because they don’t like what they see.

No belief system? Is that what you’re going with, Francois? So the Muslim Brotherhood is composed of agnostics? Hizballah (translation: Army of God) really could go either way on the whole deity thing?

They are two months away from an election. The election is on June 14th and every bit of evidence we have — this very week or next week they declare who their candidates are — and there is an enormous amount of jockeying going on with the obvious normal struggle for attention between hard-liners and people who might want to make an agreement etc. We all know what life is like here in the Senate six months from a presidential election, so you can imagine what it’s like there two months from theirs. And so I think this is a moment for us to be a little patient.

Here’s rotten headed Vice President Joe Biden, attempting to describe the Boston bombers.

Vice President Biden on Wednesday railed against the “twisted, perverted, knock-off jihadists” alleged to have planted the bombs that killed three and injured hundreds at the Boston Marathon last week.

Biden’s arguably better than Kerry, but both rotten heads work for a rotten headed president who still classifies the Ft. Hood massacre as “workplace violence” and who covered up the terrorist attack in Benghazi just long enough to get himself re-elected. Rotten headed Obama launched a blistering attack on Americans bitterly clinging to our gun rights last week, while never showing an ounce of rage toward the Boston boys.

But hey, what difference, at this point, does it make, right?
