Long time coming: Roger Simon discusses his new film, 'A Better Life'

Our own Roger Simon wrote the story for the upcoming movie, A Better Life, and Hollywood Elsewhere interviews him about the journey of getting the story from page to screen. A Better Life’s journey is longer than most, spanning decades from inception to its movie premiere this month. It’s particularly interesting, to me anyway, to hear from the original author how the story has evolved as other writers have shaped it since Roger wrote the first script back in 1989. Much has changed both inside and outside the story since those days.
