Video: CNN's Jeffrey Toobin discusses John Edwards' prosecution

Frankly, I’m taken aback that CNN turns to Jeffrey Toobin to discuss the Edwards prosecution. Doesn’t CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin have a conflict of interest here? Or, when he uses the word “sordid,” perhaps he’s just speaking from experience.

In 2008, when [Casey] Greenfield became pregnant, and when she told [Jeffrey] Toobin the news, he offered her “money if she’d have an abortion,” says a source. He also allegedly offered to pay for her to have another child later via a sperm donor.

“When Casey wouldn’t have an abortion, Jeff told her she was going to regret it, that she shouldn’t expect any help from him,” claims another source.
