The Pakistani Taliban released a training video of their “special forces” showing jihadists donning matching T-shirts and spelling out the initials of the terror group with their bodies.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) video released last week by their Umar Media arm, titled “The Stomach for Fighting #1,” shows jihadists going through a variety of drills in the “sanctuaries of jihad.”
In addition to their team tees, which show a pair of handguns with the words “NO TENSION” above, the TTP training uniform also includes knee-hi white socks pulled taut over black cargo pants. The look is finished off with hi-top sneakers.
At one point, a line of jihadists stands above comrades spelling out the letters “TTP” with their bodies.
At another point, the terror trainees join together to build a human pyramid, with the top guy holding the terror group’s flag aloft.
They do various calisthenics together, including bouncing in place, jumping jacks, scissor kicks and jumping over shrubbery.
The training unfolds in a mountainous setting, using a dilapidated building and a courtyard for target practice.
The Pakistani Taliban, infamous for the assassination attempt on Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai and the 2014 Peshawar school attack, provided the funding and training for Faisal Shahzad’s 2010 attempt to detonate a car bomb in Times Square. “They train together, they plan together, they plot together,” then-White House counterterrorism advisor John Brennan told Fox News at the time of the Pakistani Taliban and al-Qaeda relationship. “They are almost indistinguishable.”
Noting that the “first martyrdom operation was done by a girl,” the TTP recently released a women’s magazine telling female followers to prepare to become suicide bombers.
While migrating to a sharia-practicing jihadi-controlled area is encouraged, women were given home jihad tips for if they’re unable to move: “Help to publish and distribute jihadi literature,” “write essays supporting cause of jihad,” or “organize religious gatherings at home.”
“Organize secret gatherings at home and invite like-minded jihadi sisters,” the magazine suggests. “Distribute literature reflecting on the obligation of jihad, arrange physical training classes for sisters. Learn how to operate simple weapons. Learn the use of grenades.”
In November, the TTP called on newly elected Donald Trump to “abandon the anti-Islam policy in the name of terrorism” and release “all the Muslim prisoners” especially a U.S.-educated Pakistani neuroscientist dubbed “Lady al-Qaeda” — Aafia Siddiqui, who is serving an 86-year sentence at the Federal Medical Center, Carswell, in Fort Worth, Texas.
