In a new video, an Islamic State jihadi proclaims:
I say to all French people who think that the Islamic State won’t arrive in Europe, with God’s help, we will arrive in Europe. We will expand across all of Europe, to France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and also the USA. I say to all my brothers that cannot immigrate and join the Islamic caliphate, try to resist with all means, kill them, slaughter them, burn their cars and homes. I say to my brothers, if you see a police officer—kill him. Kill them all. Kill all infidels that you see in the streets.
The Charlie Hebdo and Hyper Cacher jihad massacres were not the beginning, and they’re certainly not the end. There will be many more killings, many more infidels struck down in the streets. Jihad murder will become an ever more frequent feature of life in the West. And just this past week there have been new signs that we are in for a long, tough war -– made all the tougher by the fact that only one side has the will to fight, a clear objective for which it is fighting, and an indestructible tenacity enabling it to keep on fighting, no matter how long the odds.
The free world could still prevail. But right now, it is being set aflame.
1. Shelton Thomas Bell.
Bell, a twenty-one-year-old convert to Islam from Florida, got a twenty-year prison sentence Wednesday for attempting to aid jihad terrorists. According to the Florida Times-Union,
..he planned on traveling to Yemen to join Ansar Al-Sharia, an alias for al-Qaida. Bell and an unidentified juvenile flew to Jordan in late 2012 in the hopes of crossing over into Yemen and joining the terrorist organization, prosecutors said.
But they never crossed the border and ended up being arrested in Jordan after Bell preached jihad at a mosque.
Also, Bell filmed videos in which he is seen “advocating violent jihad, burning an American flag and renouncing his American citizenship. Bell speaks in the videos of the need for Muslims to rise up against the United States and other Western powers.”
Bell didn’t just talk: “He and another man also are shown getting ready to vandalize an Arlington church in July 2012. Statues were defaced at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens cemetery, with the head and arms of Jesus cut off.”
And so yet another convert to Islam misunderstands his new religion and gets the crazy idea that it has something to do with violence against unbelievers. Yet another convert to Islam gets the strange notion that he has ceased to be a citizen of his nation, but has instead become its enemy. If only Barack Obama or John Kerry had been around to set him straight. But they weren’t. And there are many, many others like Shelton Thomas Bell in America today.
2. Islamic State threats to a Jewish business.
WJLA reported Tuesday that,
a thriving D.C. business is the target of self-described ISIS militants. For the past five months a barrage of phone calls and internet postings have threatened employees. The callers vow to carry out mass murder.
The report didn’t identify the business, but said it was “Jewish owned and some of the threats are anti-Semitic while others are racial or homophobic.”
This could be actual Islamic State jihadis, but the Department of Homeland Security has deemed the threats “not credible.” Even though DHS wouldn’t know an Islamic jihadist from the hole in the ground left by his suicide bomb, this is still probably an example of jihad chic — losers pretending to be the strong murderous thugs they admire.
However, even the possibility that idiot losers think it’s cool to imitate the Islamic State doesn’t exactly bode well for the future.
3. Abdalah Mohamed.
Abdalah Mohamed wanted a smoke, but he didn’t have the scratch to buy a whole pack, so he went into Ira’s Deli in Portland and asked to buy just one. When the clerk told him that the deli didn’t sell individual cigarettes, but would have twenty at a pop, he flew into a rage.
“I will blow up your store,” he screamed. “I’m going to send my guys to shoot up your store.” “You Israeli,” he raged at the deli’s owner, Iraj Rafai: “I’ll blow up your store in the name of Allah! We take care of people like you.” After he finally left, he called the store only to fulminate some more.
It wasn’t a jihad attack. It wasn’t planned or premeditated. But Mohamed’s default position in his rage was “I’ll blow up your store in the name of Allah,” not “I will never bring my business here again, but will frequent your rival deli down the street, and continue my quest until I find a place that sells loose cigarettes.” Once again, not a good sign for the future.
4. Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah (Christopher Cornell).

Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah, another convert to Islam from Ohio, was arrested on Wednesday for plotting a jihad terror attack involving pipe bombs at the U.S. Capitol and shooting government officials. However, his father, John Cornell, thinks the whole thing is an FBI frame job. “They’ve already painted him as some kind of terrorist,” said the elder Cornell, who declared that his accused jihadi son was actually “one of the most peace-loving people I know.”
Christopher/Raheel, said John Cornell, was a “momma’s boy who never left” home:
I think he was a really vulnerable kid, just a big kid….His best friend is his kitty cat. There’s no way he could have carried out any kind of terrorist plot. He didn’t even drive; he didn’t have a car.
So what happened? The rapacious feds needed to justify their terror budget:
He told me he had went to a mosque and now I know, in hindsight I know, he was meeting with an FBI agent. And they were taking him somewhere, and they were filling his head with a lot of this garbage….These guns cost almost $2,000. Where did that money come from? Well, it came from the FBI. They set him up.
Here we go again. It is by now a staple of the leftist/Islamic supremacist narrative that the FBI, to justify its huge counter-terror budget, goes around trumping up jihad terror plots by coaxing impressionable young Muslims into misunderstanding their religion and believing that it enjoins violence against unbelievers. The big problem with this oft-repeated claim is that it is almost always belied by the words of the perpetrators themselves, as in this case — words that show how the perp was in control of his actions, knew what he was doing, and wanted to kill for Allah.
Raheel did: “I believe that we should just wage jihad under our own orders and plan attacks and everything,” he wrote. “I believe we should meet up and make our own group in alliance with the Islamic State here and plan operations ourselves.” He even said that “we already got a thumbs up from the Brothers over there and Anwar al Awlaki before his martyrdom and many others.”
Also: could you be coaxed into committing mass murder? Would you do it for love or money or anything at all? The fact that these Muslims agreed to participate in the plot is evidence of their guilt. And Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah, the momma’s boy from the Ohio suburbs, shows that once certain people enter the Islamic fold, they can all too easily fall under the spell of jihad preachers, and then anything can happen. And it will.
5. Belgium.
The jihad struck again in Belgium on Thursday. This was a day after “three Islamic State militants threatened attacks on Belgium in a video broadcast on Wednesday, the Belga news agency reported.” It only took a day for the jihadis to follow through on their threats.
Said Thierry Werts of the Belgian federal prosecutor’s office:
This operational cell of about ten people, some of whom had returned from Syria, was on the point of launching significant terrorist attacks in Belgium. During the search, certain suspects immediately opened fire at special forces of the police with automatic weapons. They opened fire for several minutes. Two suspects were killed and a third was arrested.
He added that “even after one of the suspects was lying on the ground injured, he continued to fire.”
In other words, he didn’t give up. He refused to give up. Only the West is in the process of giving up, by largely acquiescing to the Islamic supremacist demand that Muhammad must not be insulted. There is thus no reason for the jihadis not to press forward and menace the West more aggressively than ever. And they will.
