America vs. the UN Mob

The UN General Assembly just approved a record $4.17 billion budget for 2008-2009, by a vote of 142 to 1. The lone dissenting member was the United States. Claudia Rosett asks if 142 countries are right and America is wrong – or, perhaps – the UN system “encourages the mob of member states to treat American money as an all-you-can-eat buffet.”
