The below could be just some organically produced clickbait article for a shady online banking site — but it could just as easily be Deep State-planted propaganda to normalize the death of the American middle class, which the technocratic overlords have been pursuing for many decades now for purposes of greater social control and de-industrialization.
If there’s one thing that the permanent ruling class hates, it’s citizens with the resources and know-how to resist their various social engineering schemes.
The best techno-serf is a poor, terrorized, desperate, dependent techno-serf, as their maxim goes.

Here we have a handy rundown of “10 Things the Middle Class Won’t Be Able To Afford in Less Than a Decade” — not an awfully long timeline in the grand scheme of things to destroy what was once the economic envy of the entire planet and the single greatest achievement of free market capitalism.
Note throughout the tone of indifference and total lack of curiosity or indignation at what caused the destruction of the American middle class; abject destitution is just going to be a fact of life now, like the sun rising in the east.

Via GoBankingRates (emphasis added):
In a world where the financial landscape is constantly shifting, the American middle class often finds itself in a precarious position.
The cost of living is increasing across the board thanks to areas such as housing, higher education and healthcare, just to name a few. People used to find that earning a standard middle-class income could still provide comfort, but now, they find themselves living paycheck to paycheck.
Caught between the affluence of the wealthy and the struggles of the lower middle-class families and economic tiers, middle-class incomes are putting individuals in steeper financial challenges that could significantly alter their lifestyle in the coming decade. When you have to battle student loans well into the age when you should have been saving for retirement, the struggle to afford any future luxuries or even necessities starts to become overwhelming.

The goods and services soon to be outside the reach of the once-mighty American middle class include:
- Retirement
- Private education
- High-speed internet
- Fitness classes (who needs those when we have Medicaid-supplied Ozempic, right?)
- Healthcare
- Organic food
- Solar panels
- Health insurance
- Homes in which to install solar panels
(By definition, not being able to buy a house would seem to put a family firmly outside of the middle class and into the serf class.)
So, basically, the future in this vision consists of subjects of the grand American Democracy™ eating zhe bugs, probably grown in some government-funded, Bill Gates-owned lab, unable to afford any form of healthcare except for assisted suicide, squatting in tenement housing on the grounds of some labor camp where work will set them free, waiting to die.
If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face — forever.
