First, let’s acknowledge the basic reality that, unless the Deep State literally kills or otherwise incapacitates Trump, he will be the GOP nominee for the presidency in 2024.
The primary voters couldn’t be clearer: it’s not going to be Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, or any of the other clown show establishment hack alternatives on offer. That ship has sailed. They had their shot. It’s over.
That any of them are still maintaining their farcical bids either speaks to their vanity or to a belief, perhaps based on inside knowledge whispered to them by their donors or Deep State handlers, that Trump is going to be sidelined one way or another.

With that political reality established, Trump has a problem on his hands in the form of the independent RFK Jr. It appears that problem is not going away unless, like Trump himself, he is physically eliminated from contention by the powers that be based on the belief that he will cost Biden the election.
I am still of the opinion that RFK will naturally pull more disaffected Democrat voters than Trump voters, but there is certainly a case to be made – which many on the right have – that he is an electoral threat to Trump.
In a recent poll, RFK Jr. is pulling a spectacular (by third-party standards) 22% in a three-way head-to-head with Trump and the Brandon entity.

When the hypothetical 2024 general election matchup broadens to include environmental lawyer and anti- vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. who is running as an independent candidate, Biden receives 39 percent support, Trump receives 36 percent support, and Kennedy receives 22 percent support.
Among independents, 36 percent support Kennedy, 31 percent support Trump, and 30 percent support Biden.
Given the tiny margins by which Biden (allegedly) won the (probably rigged) 2020 election, peeling off even a tiny fraction of RFK Jr. supporters could mean the difference between victory and defeat for Trump in 2020.
I know RFK Jr. supporters and talk to them often. These are not, by and large, people who adhere to convoluted political ideologies like Democratic Socialism or whatever. They have very simple political demands, actually.
They want the COVID-19 Public Health™ criminals prosecuted and they want some sort of justice for the victims (meaning the entire American population) who were subjected to the unprecedented and cruel biomedical tyranny that went on for many years and, in fact, still continues in many blue jurisdictions to this day.
That means that many voters partial to RFK Jr. are never going to support the man who championed Operation Warp Speed, which rushed the dangerous and ineffective shots to market and who then refused to apologize for it, and actually has continued to brag about it at his rallies as recently as earlier this year.

The RFK Jr. supporters I know want the Swamp drained and the Deep State disbanded permanently – and they don’t necessarily care if it’s RFK Jr. or Trump, or a combination of the two if the former winds up in the latter’s cabinet, who does it. It doesn’t matter to them if the purge is done under a Democrat or Republican banner. They are results-oriented realists, and not amenable to standard politicking.
And they are savvy and jaded enough not to fall for mere red meat doled out at rallies; they really mean it when they demand that the Swamp be drained. Simply repeating “Drain the Swamp” like it’s 2016 all over again isn’t going to cut the mustard this time for this type of voter.
Trump’s campaign people must know they have the MAGA vote – at least 30% of the electorate – on lock. But it’s not going to be enough to win this time, especially with whatever election rigging goes on behind the scenes. Outreach must be done and bridges must be built with independents, who, by the metrics in the above poll and others, overwhelmingly favor RFK Jr.
