This was my thought exactly! If guns don’t keep people safe, then why do the President and Mayor Bloomberg and all the rest have armed security details? It’s not like you can prevent crime with guns or anything, right?
Just as the Soviets would soften their hearts and disarm if only we would unilaterally disarm first, Newtown crazies and Chicago gangs will disarm too if our elected leaders and their blue state police forces unilaterally disarm first.
