Illinois Governor Patt Quinn and his pall Squeezy the Pension Python explain their state’s budget problems.
I felt a little dirty just typing that.

“We made a promise to the workers, the taxpayers and the kids.”
And at least one of those is going to get stiffed when this whole thing plays out. Most likely two.
In all fairness, the Governor does a good job at distilling the problem they now face. Unfortunately, he fails to reach the inevitable conclusion.
Who is the target audience for this? No wonder we are in trouble!
