Down, 1.8% since President Obama was sworn into office. If that 1.8% hadn’t given up hope and left the labor pool, the unemployment rate today would be 10.9%.

    At least they have that going for them, though. Unemployment numbers need never again reach Depression era levels so long as the government can simply not count anybody they don’t want to count.
