…but a terror attack on Norway is like giving a drubbing to your kid niece — yet that’s the level where these guys operate.
People are dead — again and again and again — because of the total failure of Islamists to be able to live in, or merely to accept the reality of, the modern West.
They’re going after Norway because they can’t come after us. Terror-by-proxy, as we were. ‘though certainly not proxy for the poor Norwegians.
As down on Obama as I am, I’ll give him props for keeping his foot on the throats of the Islamists. He certainly hasn’t been perfect in his execution of the GWoT, and the noises he’s been making of late have me concerned. But up ’til now, he’s been pretty solid.
The question is, will this be an isolated incident, or are things beginning to ramp up in Europe. Given the horrible demographics they’re dealing with, I think this may be start of a different kind of Intifada.
Sounds like the attacks are in reaction to something specific (continuing fallout from the Mohammed cartoons, and the apparent threatened deportation of a radical sheik by Norwegian authorities).
I still think the situation is primed for an explosion, but this may be a one-off.
What a mess.
It’s always in response to something specific, whether it’s Hitler into Poland, breaking of Hudaibiya armistice — it’s a beligerent’s meme in Europe since WWI at least, and in Arabiya since time immemorial.
And the specific thing for harbi (or almost-dhimmi in this case) to be punished for is insulting the Prophet and Koran, or fighting back.
What I want to know is what proportion of Nords will be saying “we shouldn’t have printed those cartoons, shouldn’t have gone to Land of Submission, we’ll kick out Joos faster, we are so sorry”
