Getting ready for the debate – mostly by carbo-loading and admiring my new martini pitcher. I kid, of course. I didn’t actually buy a new pitcher just for the debates; I plan to use it for many, many years.
Meantime, here’s some stuff to keep your Inner Geek happy while we wait for the big event.






Speaking as one of the two, I amhoping for an extremely clear and lucid blog from you.
I shut off my cable a year ago, out of disgust at raising prices, and lowering content.
I’m busily consuming 100 proof peppermint schnapps, and wondering if I should have eaten first.
I need the clear and lucid blog because I have no other source for the debate. Local public radio seems not to be covering it in this area.

Debate prep 101
Stephen has his plans, here’s mine:
Decide on drink to enjoy during the debate. Choices: warm soothing Lagavulin, or spicy Mexican Martini.
Fire up browser and login to Swanky Conservative so I can “live-blog” the debate.
